WINNER : Cheeseboard from Slated

It's competition time once again for you lucky people.  The very lovely Tara Hammond from Slated is celebrating her birthday and has given me a beautiful cheeseboard from her handcrafted slate collection to give to one very lucky reader (Ireland and UK only).  Let me tell you a bit about Slated...

Slated create beautiful, refined stone tableware. A modern and contemporary utilization of the incredibly durable and naturally beautiful slate stone, each piece is meticulously handcrafted by the Hammond family, master Slaters for many generations. All of the Slated pieces are hand cut with traditional artisan techniques to enhance the originality and natural elegance of the collection. Slated is an Irish family owned and run business, based in South Co. Dublin and a member of the Craft Council of Ireland.

Now for the prize... you can choose either a round or square cheeseboard from the Slated collection which is a distinctive natural surface ideal for entertaining with wine and cheese.  Cheese needs to be served at room temperature if it’s to be properly savoured. Slated's slate board keeps it just cool enough. Why not write the names of the cheese on the cheeseboard with chalk or a chalk marker. Just wipe off the names with a damp cloth.

Wine and Cheese not included...

Slate is a natural product with an uneven surface which may be rigid or veined. Because each slate is hand crafted irregularities must be expected on the surface & edges. These factors provide a pleasing rustic appearance which therefore complements a selection of artisan cheeses.  Each cheeseboard has 290mm felt feet to protect surfaces.

Entering the competition is very simple.  Just "like" Slated on Facebook and leave a comment below.

Rules :
Only open to Republic of Ireland & UK readers only (I know it's mean but them's the rules)
Competition closes on Monday 17th December at 18.00
Slated will post the prize within 28 days (once I get your address, of course)

* Random winner picking works like this. Every comment is assigned a number in order. I then ask Lulu to pick a number between the first & last. They're the winners.
Lulu's decision is finalNo point in arguing with a 7 year old, she's always right...
