WIN with Kerrygold (twice!) *CLOSED*

However you pronounce it (buhher, botter, budder), the fact is that as a nation, Irish people love eating real butter.  I am firmly in the camp of butter lovers and use it in baking and cooking on a very regular basis.  I'm not as bad as my VBF Mrs. T who is in the habit of using inches of butter on her bread - in fact I think the ratio is about 3 : 1 in favour of butter!  When you think of Irish butter, Kerrygold is the name that comes to mind and it's recognised as a symbol of Irish food worldwide.

To celebrate the Kerrygold Ballymaloe Literary Festival of Food & Wine 2014, Rachel and Darina Allen are launching a nationwide search for Ireland's favourite family recipes (using butter, of course!).  From now until 14th May, you can enter by submitting a recipe using Kerrygold butter and a photo of your dish to the competition website .  The winner will win two places on Rachel Allen's Everyday Kitchen cookery course in Ballymaloe including accommodation.

Not only that, but I'm giving you a second chance to win by giving away a copy of the Kerrygold Cookbook which is packed full of savoury and sweet recipes using Kerrygold butter and cheese.  With recipes by Orla Broderick and tempting photos by Jocasta Clarke, this book will entice you into cooking for friends and family. This is a special edition cookbook so not available to buy instore or online.  You can win a copy by doing the following :

Follow me on Twitter and/or like Babaduck on Facebook
Finally, leave a comment below telling me the name of Rachel Allen's cookery course

Nine was the lucky number & that's you, Helen Meade.  Congratulations!

The competition closes on Friday 16th May at 18.00 GMT and is open to entrants GLOBALLY.  That's right, readers in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and anywhere else... you can enter!

* Random winner picking works like this. Every comment is assigned a number in order. I then ask Lulu to pick a number between the first & last. They're the winners.  Lulu's decision is finalNo point in arguing with an almost 9 year old, she's always right...  I always check to see that you've followed or liked.  If you haven't, you'll be eliminated.  Prize will be posted within 28 days of the competition closing date.
